Presented by Bigfoot Beverages, the Doug Koke Memorial Athlete of the Week honors outstanding high school student-athletes who demonstrate the dedication, character, and commitment that Doug Koke championed throughout his life. A lifelong supporter of Oregon Athletics and a beloved part of the Ducks' game-day tradition, Doug was known for his passion for student-athletes, his community, and his simple philosophy: be kind to people, do great work, and have fun.

Each school year, one outstanding male and one outstanding female student-athlete will be recognized as Doug Koke Memorial Athletes of the Week. At the conclusion of the high school year, selected honorees will also have an opportunity to receive a scholarship in Doug's memory.
